Immigrants with a refugee status normally have a health insurance. If this is not the case, please contact the Swiss Red Cross directly.

In the Kantonsspital Uri, you have the possibility to pay for the treatment received in cash, bankcard or credit card.

Translations

Especially in medical care, both sides understanding each other is an important basis for successful care and treatment. For foreign speaking patients, there is the possibility for various translation services. The Kantonsspital Uri works closely together with Caritas, the cantonal administration and the Swiss Red Cross. If you need a translator for your hospital stay, we would be grateful if you could inform us before your admission.
